FRIAT & SEATED TICKETS

THE ROYAL INTERNATIONAL AIR TATTOO 2025 ('RIAT25')

These terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") apply to RIAT25, please read them carefully before purchasing any tickets. All tickets are sold or provided subject to availability and to these Terms and Conditions.

1.	RIAT25 is organised by The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises (registered company no. 2190393) (the "Organisers"), its RIAT25 Executive Committee and their respective employees, contractors, servants and agents.

2.	These Terms and Conditions create a legal agreement between you and the Organisers relating to your booking and attendance at RIAT25. These Terms and Conditions also apply to entry by any person holding a complimentary admission or passes.

3.	Any access within areas controlled by RIAT25 is by permission only. The purchaser or holder of a ticket (the "Ticket Holder") is permitted entry (valid only for the applicable date(s) which the ticket relates to) to:

o	for general admission tickets - the areas of RAF Fairford (including car parks) designated by the Organisers as being open to general admission ticket holders during RIAT25 (the 'Showground');

o	for Park and View tickets - the designated car parks on the Park & View days of Wednesday 16, Thursday 17 and Monday 21 July

o	for Enclosure tickets - the Showground and the designated enclosures corresponding to the particular enclosure ticket.

4.	Access to the RIAT25 car parks is not permitted without an admission ticket on the public days of Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July. Access to car parks on the Park & View days of Wednesday 16, Thursday 17 and Monday 21 July is only permitted with a Park and View ticket purchased in advance or with the intent to purchase and subsequent purchase of a Park and View ticket on the day.

5.	Access for Ticket Holders to applicable areas shall be permitted during the following times (subject always to at the Organisers' discretion, including due to operational or health and safety reasons):

a.	Wednesday 16 July - Park & View areas - 7.30am - 5.30pm

b.	Thursday 17 July - Park & View areas - 7.30am - 5.30pm

c.	Friday 18 July - Showground - 7.30am - 6.00pm

d.	Saturday 19 July - Showground - 7.30am - 7.30pm

e.	Sunday 20 July - Showground - 7.30am - 7.30pm

f.	Monday 21 July - Park & View areas - 7.30am - 4.30pm

6.	Cancellations, date changes and lost tickets:

a.	Orders of tickets may be cancelled or exchanged provided that this occurs within 2 working days after purchase. After this time all tickets are non-refundable.

b.	Order changes can only be processed if tickets for both days/types are still on sale and are subject to a non-refundable administration fee of £25 per booking. When changing bookings for enclosures, any passes issued must be returned before new passes can be issued.

c.	All requests for cancellations or changes should be made by calling Customer Services 01285 713456 (9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday).

d.	Enclosure packs for Aviation Club, First Class Lounge and Lightning Pavilion will be posted prior to the show. Lost or damaged enclosure passes cannot be replaced. In the event of loss or damage please contact Customer Services on 01285 713456. The Ticket Holder details will be passed to the enclosure to allow the Ticket Holder access, however both the admission and enclosure e-tickets will be required to gain entry.

e.	Tickets to RIAT25 are non-transferable and the Ticket Holder shall not sell or attempt to sell the ticket to any third party.

a.	The Ticket Holder agrees to follow all reasonable instructions of the Organisers and staff during the RIAT25.

b.	The Ticket Holder acknowledges that the Showground and Park & View areas are subject to strict security arrangements and that the Organisers may carry out security checks (including, but not limited to, checks of the Ticket Holder's person, belongings and vehicle).

c.	The Ticket Holder shall act responsibly at all times and not do anything to endanger the safety of any person or property at the Showground or the Park and View areas.

d.	Shelters and stepladders up to 1.2 metres in height are allowed to be bought into RIAT25 however they are not allowed within 10m of the crowdline so that they do not obstruct the view of others.

e.	Smoking (including vaping) within the Enclosures is only allowed in Outdoor Designated Smoking Areas, as determined by the Organisers and indicated with appropriate signage and is not allowed in any event structure at RIAT25 or within 10 metres of any aircraft.

f.	The following items may not under any circumstance be brought onto the Showground and Park & View areas: explosive substances or materials, pyrotechnics, offensive weapons and firearms (including replica or toy firearms), projectiles and similar devices; placards, flags, banners, signs, brochures and leaflets intended for distribution to the public; megaphones, amplifiers, loud speakers, lights and laser pointers; paint, chemicals, spray cans and other associated apparatus; kites, remotely controlled model aircraft, drones or similar devices; bicycles, barbecues, birds or animals (including any within vehicles in the car parks) except assistance dogs and any other item which, in the opinion of the Organisers, may cause personal injury or property damage, disruption to RIAT 2024, public nuisance or inconvenience, offence or distress or security risks.

g.	The Ticket Holder acknowledges that the flying of drones or small unmanned aircraft is prohibited in or around the airspace of RAF Fairford, Article 239 of the Air Navigation Order grants RIAT25 Restricted Airspace between Wednesday 16 and Monday 21 July to allow safe conduct of the event and contravention may constitute a criminal act.

h.	Ticket Holders should keep their personal belongings with them at all times and the Organisers accept no liability for damage to, or loss (including theft) of, personal belongings or vehicles while on or at the venue.

i.	Additional terms relating to the venue and RIAT25 may be notified by the Organisers to Ticket Holders by notices prominently displayed at the Showground and Park & View areas during RIAT25 and such additional terms shall be deemed incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.

j.	The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to RIAT25, or to remove any person or vehicle from the venue or any particular area for reasons of public safety, unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury, or for any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

8.	Filming, photography and other content:

a.	The Ticket Holder shall not without the Organisers' prior written consent sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit, or attempt to commercially exploit, any material relating to RIAT25 whether written or in the form of digital or photographic film, sound, video including livestreaming or other recording or computer software whether obtained or made at the Showground or within the Park & View areas or otherwise.

b.	The Ticket Holder acknowledges that the Showground, Park and View areas and events held at them may be photographed or filmed. The Ticket Holder agrees to the use and exploitation of video or picture images or recordings including sound featuring the Ticket Holder taken by or on behalf of the Organisers at the Showground or Park & View areas during or in connection with RIAT25 for any and all purposes determined by the Organisers, including for commercial purposes, in any and all media whatsoever (whether in existence now or in the future) around the world without further authorisation, notification or payment. The Ticket Holder hereby waives any rights of objection in connection with such use or any so-called personality, image or privacy rights in connection with such use.

a.	The Organisers reserve the right at any time to cancel or postpone RIAT25 or to cancel, postpone or vary any event comprising part of RIAT25, including due to any event outside of the reasonable control of the Organisers affecting the performance of its obligations or the running of RIAT25, including without limitation unavailability of the venue or participants, civil commotion, riot, invasion, Royal mourning, national mourning, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not), natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, pandemic or epidemic or any law or action taken by a government or public authority.

b.	We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you of any cancellation or rescheduling of RIAT25. Please be aware that it may be necessary to cancel RIAT25 and announce rescheduled dates on short notice.

c.	Should weather or other circumstances require flying to be curtailed or restricted, where possible aircraft will be taxied and other exhibits and displays will be available. For the avoidance of doubt, this shall not constitute a cancellation of RIAT25.

d.	In event of cancellation or rescheduling of RIAT25, the Organisers may offer Ticket Holders tickets to a substitute or rescheduled event or the option to donate the ticket price as a charitable donation as an alternative to receiving a refund, or Ticket Holders may instead opt to receive a refund. Where tickets to a substitute or rescheduled event are available, you will be notified and given not less than 30 days from the date of notice of cancellation of the Event in which to confirm your preference (unless the rescheduled or substitute event is to be held sooner than 30 days from the date of notice of cancellation, in which case you may be offered the option of a ticket to that event or an alternative substitute event to be held at a later date). In the absence of a response within such period, the Organisers will provide you with tickets to a substitute or rescheduled event. Refunds will be paid within 14 days beginning on the date on which you confirm to the Organisers you wish to receive a refund (or if no substitute or rescheduled event is offered, 14 days of confirmation that no substitute or rescheduled event will be offered). If the Organisers cannot make payment of refunds within these periods due to events outside of the reasonable control of the Organisers, you will be kept informed and payments will be made within a reasonable time.

e.	The Organisers' liability for cancellation or rescheduling or failure to deliver RIAT25 shall be limited to providing tickets to a substitute or rescheduled event or providing a refund in accordance with paragraph 10 d) and the Organisers shall have no further liability to any Ticket Holder in relation to any other costs or expenses, including without limitation, the costs of any travel, accommodation or other arrangements made in connection with RIAT25.

a.	In this section, the "RIAT Parties" means The Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom, The Royal Air Force, the Department of Defense of the United States of America and any other US governmental agencies, The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust and the Organisers and the RIAT25 Executive Committee together with their respective Affiliates, employees, contractors, servants and agents.

b.	Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit the liability of any of the RIAT Parties for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence or for any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

c.	Subject to paragraph 10 b), whilst the Organisers take reasonable care to ensure the safety of the event, the Ticket Holder acknowledges that they may be exposed to possible risk of physical harm or property damage due to the nature of RIAT 2024 and the Ticket Holder enters and brings any vehicle or property onto the Showground, Park & View areas and surrounding areas entirely at their own risk.

d.	Other than where the Ticket Holder suffers personal injury or death or property damage resulting from the negligence of a RIAT Party, the Ticket Holder acknowledges that the RIAT Parties will not be liable for any loss or damage that the Ticket Holder may suffer as a result of purchasing a ticket and/or gaining access to the Showground and Park & View areas. This exclusion applies whether the liability arises in contract or tort ((including negligence and negligent misstatement) or for misrepresentation, breach of statutory duty or otherwise).

e.	Subject to paragraph 10 b), in no circumstances will the RIAT Parties be responsible to the Ticket Holder for any economic loss of any kind, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of earnings or loss of revenues or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

f.	Subject to paragraph 10 b), the maximum aggregate liability on the part of the RIAT Parties shall be limited to the face value of the ticket of the relevant Ticket Holder.

a.	The Ticket Holder acknowledges that in connection with purchasing tickets for or attending RIAT25, the Ticket Holder will provide the Organisers with certain personal data, such as names and contact details.

b.	The Organisers are the controller of your data and are committed to ensuring your personal data is stored safely and in compliance with all applicable data protection legislation in force from time to time in the UK. We will process your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy

a.	The Organiser may transfer its rights and obligations under the Terms and Conditions to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or the Organisers obligations under these Terms and Conditions and you will be notified in writing if this happens. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another person if the Organiser agree in writing.

b.	These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Organisers and the Ticket Holder. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise or representation made or given by or on behalf of the Organisers which is not set out in these Terms and Conditions.

c.	If for any reason any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.

d.	The RIAT Parties may enforce their rights and enjoy the benefits given under paragraphs 10 of these Terms and Conditions against the Ticket Holder. Otherwise, a person who is not a party to the agreement formed between the Organisers and the Ticket Holder on these Terms and Conditions will not have any right to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any provision of these Regulations.

e.	These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the Ticket Holder agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts over any matter arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.

Air Tattoo Gift Vouchers are redeemable against any Air Tattoo admission tickets, enclosures, merchandise, admin and/or postage fees purchased online at www.airtattoo.com or through customer services on 01285 713 456 (Mon-Fri from 9am - 5pm)

Gift vouchers are not redeemable at the Air Tattoo, they can only be redeemed for all purchases on airtattoo.com

Multiple Gift Vouchers may be redeemed in the same transaction up to the value of the goods being purchased

Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash

Gift Vouchers will expire 18 months from date of purchase. Gift Vouchers presented after their expiry date will be treated as void and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable

Please treat Gift Vouchers as cash in terms of security. Gift vouchers cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged

Gift Vouchers cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights

We reserve the right to refuse to accept a Gift Voucher which is suspected to be affected from fraud

We reserve the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and to take appropriate action including cancellation of the voucher if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary

ABOUT ROYAL AIR FORCE CHARITABLE TRUST ENTERPRISES

The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises is a not for profit organisation that raises money via Royal Air Force related events, products and services for our parent charity the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust (RAFCT). RAFCTE collects, uses, discloses, transfers and stores personal data when needed to support various operational and business purposes as described in this Statement.

However, we may collect the categories of data listed below when you:

The Royal International Air Tattoo app does not collect any user data.

We use cookies to store an anonymous ID to enable tracking between pages, which is required to enable ecommerce activities on the website. The cookie also stores information to assist the website page behaviour, but no personal information is held within the cookie. Cookies are integral to the operation of the website and their use is required in order to make the website functional.

This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. This data is held by us for 365 days.

In order to maintain our operational security and compliance capabilities we may also use additional tracking facilities when registered users access certain systems.

HOW AND WHY DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

RAFCTE will use your personal data for the following different legitimate business purposes:

•	To perform or finalise any transaction or order which you have placed with us;

HOW WE SHARE AND TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA

RAFCTE does not share your personal data to others for the purposes of direct marketing unless you give us your express consent to do so. RAFCTE only shares and transfers your personal data only as stated below and in accordance with current privacy legislation and best practices. We may share occasionally non personal, anonymised and statistical data with third parties for our own business purposes.

Below are the parties with whom we may share personal information and why:

•	To other RAFCTE Group Companies where it is necessary to meet the purpose for which you have submitted your personal data and in particular if necessary for the provision of events, products, services, account administration, sales, marketing and support. We take steps to ensure that RAFCTE Group Companies follow our data protection policy, this privacy statement and applicable local law when handling personal data.

•	To our third-party contractors and providers which perform certain functions on behalf of RAFCTE, such as analysing data, processing credit card payments and cloud hosting services. These parties only have access to such information as necessary to perform their functions and may not use it for any purpose other than to provide services to us.

•	For any reason if, RAFCTE believes it is reasonable to do so, including: to satisfy any laws, regulations, or governmental or legal requests for such information; in the event of a merger, sale, restructure, acquisition, joint venture or assignment to disclose information that is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Business Principles values or other terms and conditions; or to otherwise protect the RAFCTE business.

RAFCTE will retain your personal data for the period of time that is necessary to fulfil the original purposes for which it has been collected. In certain cases, a longer retention period may be required or permitted by law or to allow RAFCTE to pursue its business interests, conducting audits, comply with our legal obligations, enforce our agreements or resolve any dispute.

The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

•	How long is the data needed to provide you with our products or services or to operate our business?

•	If you have an account with us, we will keep your data while your account is active or for as long as needed to provide the services to you

•	Sometimes we are subject to legal, contractual, or other obligation to retain your data. Examples can include mandatory data retention laws, government regulations to preserve data relevant to an investigation, or data that must be retained for contract or legal reasons

We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us to prevent unauthorised access, loss or destruction of your personal data.

We continually initiate modernisation programmes for our IT infrastructure to further improve our security and adopt privacy by design principles into our business processes.

The RAFCTE site contains links to other websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites.

HOW YOU CAN ACCESS AND CONTROL YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We are committed to ensuring that you can exercise your right of access and you can control your data.

If you are registered for an account on any RAFCTE service we will soon be providing you with direct access to your online profile. This will allow you to update your personal details and manage this information if legally possible simply by logging into the applicable service with your username or password.

If you already have an online account with us, you can log in already and amend some details - we will also be extending these self-service capabilities in the coming months. If you are in receipt of marketing emails from us, you can easily unsubscribe simply by clicking the unsubscribe button in any of our emails.

Otherwise, and in accordance with our internal procedures, we will respond to the following requests as described below. All requests shall be addressed via our on-line privacy request form or by contacting us in writing at the address mentioned in the contact us section.

•	Access to personal information: you have the right to request what personal data we hold about you subject to our right to identity verification. If you are requesting a copy of your data, we may charge you a fee except where this is not permissible under English law

•	Correction and deletion: according to data protection laws in the EU you (data subjects) have the right to correct or amend your personal data if it is inaccurate or requires updating. You may also have the right to request the deletion of your personal information, however this may not always be possible due to legal requirements and other obligations to keep such data. If we are requested to delete your data, we may keep some minimal information about you to be able to demonstrate that we have fulfilled our obligations

•	Marketing preferences: you can object to certain data processing operations. An example being, opting out from marketing communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link located on the bottom of RAFCTE marketing emails or if you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes by emailing unsubscribe to marketing@rafcte.com

•	Filing a complaint: any complaints about our adherence to the practices described in this Statement shall be addressed as described above. Various data protection laws (including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act (DPA) in the EU and the UK provide you the right to lodge a formal complaint with a data protection authority which in the UK is the ICO, whose contact link is here.
